Outdoor Australia Magazine

I have been up at 5am for the past 5 days… waiting for the good weather to shoot Christie Sym for the cover of Outdoor Australia Magazine and today finally the sun was out!
I will post up the cover once it has been published, but until then here are a couple from the morning.

Vincent Pernin

It was late afternoon when I got a phone call from French freerider Vincent Pernin. Originally I thought the call was my brother prank calling me once again, giving his best French impersonation.
“Hello man, I come to Australia and need some photo’s” he said in his thick French accent.
I laughed and said “I do not take photo, I make art and can make you look beau-tiful” in my best French accent.

Tom Patton

Back on the bike after a horrific crash and is back to representing Australia.

The Grove gone…

A pretty sad day today… Our local riding spot named ‘The Grove’ after the master Mind behind the trails Dave Musgrove has been destroyed today by the local council.

Dave is on a mission to get the trails back up and running, so fingers crossed things work out!

I was contacted by the Manly Daily (Local Newspaper) as an article was being written about the locals fight to bring back the local dirt jumps.

Redbull Flugtag

What a day!

I was shooting for Incite Images today at the Redbull Flugtag in Sydney.
I converted to the dark side and shot with a Nikon D3 with 300, 400 and 600mm lenses and can honestly say that Nikon have really pulled their finger out with this camera. Focus was lighting quick and tack sharp. Unfortunately I cant post up any of the shots as they are copyright to Incite.

Still love my Canon and wont be changing, but the D3 is tempting!
