This was one of those jobs I was excited but also dreading to shoot… I was to shoot a 4 page story on Top Gear journolist Ben Smithhurst being taken for a ride with Travis Pastrana. I was told we has Travis for about 20 minutes.. and in his PR’s eyes, this was 5 minutes.

We headed out to Tugalong Recreation Park for a full day shoot with Australian Dirt Bike Magazine.
It was a long day. There was a number of bike comparisons and also their cover shot in the afternoon.
We came up with a fire concept for the cover a few weeks before. The bike on the cover was a new Chinese built machine that uses all the new technology but its price point is almost half as much as all its competitors.

A recent …ahhh business trip to Japan was a heap of fun. As per-usual I had to take my camera.
I spent a few days in Tokyo and then about 11 days in the mountains… for a bit of… business….
