GT-R, Lambo & R8

Some more work for Top Gear magazine. This time out on the track with a R35 GT-R, Lamborghini LP552 and a V10 Audi R8.

While trying to shoot some action shots of the GT-R the Stig was having trouble getting it sideways. He drove over to me and I said ‘cant get this thing sideways huh?’ The Stig looks back at me and shakes his head. He was having no trouble in the R8 and the 2WD Lambo.

Not a bad day at the office.

Wheels Car Of The Year

I was lucky enough to shoot Wheels magazines COTY (Car Of The Year). A huge amount of time and energy goes into picking the car. 57 cars were tested this year and the Golf GTI was the stand out.

Stig Vs HSV

Here are some shots from a recent shoot for Top Gear Magazine at Holden’s Lang Lang Proving Ground in Melbourne.

I explain to the him that I was worried about standing in a particular location to get an action shot. At the mention of him hitting me, he looks directly at me and shakes his head. No words, not a sound… and in true Stig style, he drifted the car past me 4 times perfectly.

Sometimes, though its unavoidable. Here are 2 examples.

This first image was shot for NRMA – Open Road Magazine.
I had to shoot a cover shot of 4 cars. I was only given about 1/2 an hour to shoot the cars and the only elevated position I could get had a pretty ugly background.
