I was lucky enough to be part of this amazing trip for Wheels magazine.
I was asked to shoot the first 2 legs of the trip. This entailed 9 days of driving/shooting with about 1000km to drive per-day. Limited to one bag (For clothes and camera gear) it was a struggle for me to pack only a couple of lenses and single camera body, but man was it fun! I began the trip in Melbourne with motoring journalist Steve Nally. We spent the next 4 days driving across the Nullarbor all the way to Perth. In Perth, Steve jumped out and motoring legend Peter Robinson jumped in. We then followed the coast and traveled up to Darwin. While this sounds all fun, sharing the driving at 1000km per-day and still having to shoot was not easy.
Here are a few shots from the trip.

Thanks to Google Maps for the image.

So, who was booked?? lol.
I may have been pulled over…. woops.
Awesome trip. Love the photos. How did you score a gig like this. I’d volunteer my time for free to go on such an epic drive in such an awesome car…
